About IPSCON 2023

Distinguished Colleagues, Friends and Fellow Pharmacologists,

The Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS) is the foremost professional body representing Indian pharmacologists. Membership of IPS currently stands in excess of 4000 and includes pharmacologists, clinical pharmacologists, toxicologists, veterinarians, pharmaceutical scientists, pharmacists, drug control experts and academicians and researchers from other branches of medicine. A large section of the membership comprises young pharmacologists undergoing postgraduate training under various universities.

We take great pleasure in inviting you to the XXXXXII Annual Conference of the Indian Pharmacological Society [IPSCON 2022] to be held at JSS College of Pharmacy, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru Karnataka, India between  22^nd-25^th February, 2023. This conference will aim to showcase developments in the field of pharmacology in India today and provide young pharmacologists in training exposure to various personalities and various lines of research. Mysuru is a heritage city of India and contributed a lot towards medical education. We are honoured to organize the conference for the first time with enthusiasms and commitment. The Organizing Committee is striving to make the conference memorable and academically fruitful. The Main Conference will be preceded by a Pre-Conference Workshop on comprising of 6 hands on training workshops on February 22^nd 2023. In addition to multiple oral and poster presentation sessions, there would be prestigious orations, guest lectures on current topics, authoritative plenaries and popular symposia. The spectrum would encompass, among others, cardiovascular pharmacology, neuropharmacology, psychopharmacology, marine pharmacology, herbal drugs and indigenous medicines, antiretroviral agents, veterinary pharmacology, toxicology and environmental pharmacology, rational use of medicines and immunopharmacology. We are inviting renowned experts from India and abroad so that our young researchers and budding pharmacologists get the opportunity to interact with them and acquaint themselves with various lines of research. No conference can succeed without the active participation of the delegates. Prepare yourselves, send in your best papers, gear up for the award sessions and set a date for the city of heritage, enjoyable pleasant January cool weather.
